Our group meetings involve assessments to gather data on teens status of current use, past experience or thoughts/desires with using drugs. We discuss facts on substance and the effects specific drugs has on the body and mind, covering peer pressure and refusal skills. Information is shared through PowerPoint, videos and students and peer staff discussing real life experiences.
We are committed to not only providing preventive and recovery support, but also creating teen advocates and ambassadors against substance use for themselves, their friends, family and community.
